I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to both Mr. Martin Jackson and Mr. Pete Mortaro for their assistance in handling my case. As no injury is ever easy to deal with, these two men handled mine with such professionalism and I did not have to concern myself with matters other than my recuperation. I encourage anyone who becomes injured to contact either of these two gentlemen as they are extremely knowledgeable handling railroad injuries.

Dawn and I would like to thank you for the great job you did on my case. I never thought I would need a lawyer or that I would be injured severely enough that I could not do my job as a conductor after 28 years. It's nice knowing you have a lawyer and staff that are there for you. I felt my case was handled in a very special and professional manner at all times. My family and I thank you and your staff sincerely for all your help.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my lawyer Martin E. Jackson of Conifer, CO for all of his firm's help and support during a very difficult time. I injured my shoulder in 2003 while applying hand brakes to a train. I sought out the advice of FELA firms in Denver, CO and Minneapolis, MN and was told I had no case because I could not prove the railroad was at fault. I talked to attorney Martin E. Jackson and found out I did have a case worth pursuing. Mr. Jackson handled my case to a very successful conclusion. He proved that the Railroad had violated the Boiler Inspection Act, which contributed to my injuries. None of the other attorneys even realized that there had been such a violation by the railroad. This added a substantial amount of money to my settlement. I encourage any railroad worker who is injured and needs the help of an experienced FELA lawyer to call Mr. Jackson. Mr. Jackson isn't afraid to fight the railroad on difficult cases.

It's a real relief to have the case settled. I'm grateful to everyone for the successful resolution. I have no doubt whatsoever that the settlement I received was MUCH more substantial than any I would have been able to negotiate on my own. Again, I would like to thank the Martin E. Jackson Law Firm for the help and the good advice.

I would like to take this time to thank Marty Jackson for representing me in my case against the CSX Railroad. Marty not only answered all my silly questions and returned all my phone calls; he treated me like a friend. I am very pleased with the way your outstanding firm has handled my case.

Martin Jackson Law Firm I would like to send a short note of thanks to you. Two years ago, as probably most of the folks who go though an injury know, you are alone and lost. I notified Pete Mortaro, that I had incurred an ongoing knee injury and degeneration of the knee. Pete met me in North Platte the next day, familiarized me with the whole process and we then filled out the necessary paperwork. Next we made an appointment to talk with Marty. Marty met with me and from the start you could tell he was a person who cared about people. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Also, I would like to commend the office staff. All the folks were very kind, courteous, and always responded when I needed help. In closing, I would just say what ever the problem is you have, contact Martin Jackson. Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this today in support of what Martin Jackson and his team did for my family and me. I used to be employed by the BNSF railway and believed that I would be for thirty or more years. I like many before me and more yet to come, did not realize what an impact an injury would have on my family and me. One day in September of 2006 that dreaded day happened where I was injured and could not work for what would be the rest of my time with the railroad. Once injured the railroad continually called and requested that I come to work regardless of my condition or my wellbeing. This not only affected my relationship with my employer, due to wages not being paid while off work, but my financial responsibilities as well which supports my family. There were many aspects of being injured that I was not aware of and rights that came with them, after talking to Pete and securing Martins services I noticed a huge difference in the cooperation on the railroads part. Of course the times were not easy and financially very taxing, but after all is said and done if it were not for Martin and Pete I can only imagine how different the whole experience would be. I feel lucky to have had Martin and Pete on my side and feel blessed to be medically sound once again but able to carry on without the railroad or financial difficulties. May God Bless them for helping me and those who need them most!!! Sincerely,

In March of 2005 I was injured while descending a ladder on a railroad car. A rung on the ladder broke (FRA violation by the BNSF). I had back, neck, and shoulder injuries which all required surgery. Soon after the injury I contacted Pete Mortaro, chief investigator for the law office of Martin E. Jackson. After 36 years of railroad experience I knew that any injury would eventually need a lawyer to get a just settlement. Marty Jackson and Pete Mortaro were very helpful in getting me a just settlement in June of 2008 without having to go to court. Marty and Pete addressed all of my concerns in a friendly and timely manner. I recommend Marty Jackson and Pete Mortaro be contacted if you have a railroad injury.

I am writing this to thank my attorney Martin E. Jackson for the amazing job he did on my case and
to let other people know how fantastic he was. The old adage that all lawyers are the same was proven completely false the day I met Marty. He is a phenomenal attorney but an even better person. He put me first over the case. He answered every question, addressed every concern and never left me hanging.
It was a hard time, very trying for myself and family, but he made it possible to get through it. He saw it through with me to the very end and I could never thank him enough or repay him for what he did for me.
Thank you Marty!
